Job Title: Travel Clinical Laboratory Technologist
Location: Syracuse, NY
Assignment: 13 Weeks

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a qualified and experienced Travel Clinical Laboratory Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Syracuse, NY. Known for its vibrant culture, rich history, and scenic beauty, Syracuse offers a unique blend of professional growth and personal enrichment

Key Responsibilities:

Enter and retrieve patient data, test requests, quality control data, and instrument performance data using the laboratory computer system.

Process patient specimens following established protocols, including reference lab specimens and associated documentation.

Perform daily maintenance and minor troubleshooting on laboratory instrumentation, documenting activities in appropriate logbooks.

Conduct patient specimen analysis according to established quality control and safety protocols.

Handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and adhering to strict timelines.

Maintain strict patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards.

Qualifications:

New York State (NYS) license/eligibility or permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist is required.

Ability to distinguish colors is essential.

Minimum of two years of clinical laboratory experience is preferred.

Strong technical skills with laboratory equipment and procedures.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
