Medical Technologist Travel Job available in Urbana,Illinois for a 13 week contract.  The qualified candidate will be working in a hospital laboratory reporting to the Lab Manager.
This position requires :

• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Broad knowledge of basic chemistry techniques.
• Previous experience in a laboratory or medical setting.
• In-depth understanding of FDA health laws and regulations.
• Comfortable using medical technologies and lab equipment.

Duties and Qualifications include:

• ASCP
• Night shift availability 7p-7a
• Determining normal and abnormal components of body fluids by conducting chemical analyses of blood, urine, spinal fluids, and gastric juices.
• Analyzing blood cells by counting and identifying cells, using microscopic techniques and procedures
