Perform diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states.
Follow standardized procedures and help prepare samples for testing. Analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. Position requires a bachelors degree and must be a certified medical technologist. ASCP Certification is required
Be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals as well as perform a variety of tasks.
