An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced laboratory professional to serve in a contract assignment. This position focuses on performing clinical laboratory testing and analysis utilizing advanced methodologies to support quality patient care. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in multiple laboratory disciplines and demonstrate precision and reliability in all assigned tasks.

Schedule:

  • Evening shift: 11:00 am – 9:30 pm
  • No weekends
  • 6-month contract
  • Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Medical Technology (MLT or MT)
  • Certification as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician is required
  • Experience with Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Specimen Processing, Blood Bank, and Microbiology (as assigned)
  • Prior experience with Meditech preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • No phlebotomy responsibilities
  • Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clinical laboratory tests and ensure results are delivered accurately and within established timelines
  • Rotate through assigned areas including Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, and Microbiology, as scheduled
  • Strictly adhere to laboratory protocols and comply with all quality control procedures
  • Validate and analyze results, maintaining documentation according to regulatory standards
  • Participate in specimen processing and handle samples in accordance with policies
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient diagnosis and treatment
