We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to fill a Generalist role. This contract opportunity centers on providing exceptional diagnostic support, helping ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Schedule and Duration:

  • Night shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week (4x10s)
  • 26-week assignment
  • Essential Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
  • Demonstrated experience as a laboratory generalist
  • Proficiency with clinical laboratory testing and instrumentation
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and quality control procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously during night shifts
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry, immunology, urinalysis, and microbiology
  • Analyze, interpret, and report accurate laboratory results to assist in clinical decision-making
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment, ensuring all instruments are functioning optimally
  • Follow established procedures for specimen collection, processing, and labeling
  • Monitor quality control measures and document findings according to laboratory standards
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control regulations
  • Effectively communicate findings with healthcare providers as needed
