Seeking a skilled Medical Technologist with strong generalist and blood bank expertise to join a dynamic laboratory team in a permanent, full-time capacity. This role is ideal for individuals eager to contribute to high-quality laboratory operations while advancing their professional development in a collaborative environment.

Schedule:

  • 1st shift (daytime hours)

    • Qualifications:

  • Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license required
  • Previous experience as a Medical Technologist, with a generalist background
  • Strong proficiency in blood bank procedures and protocols
  • Good organizational skills and detail-oriented approach
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • ASCP certification is not required

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and specialized laboratory testing with a particular focus on blood bank analysis
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Analyze, interpret, and verify accuracy of laboratory results; document findings in laboratory information systems
  • Follow established safety and quality assurance protocols at all times
  • Collaborate with clinicians and other laboratory staff to ensure prompt and accurate result reporting
  • Participate in ongoing training and compliance with all regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation and assist with inventory management
