Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with specimen collection, processing, analysis, and reporting results
  • Operating, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Verifying and documenting quality control procedures to guarantee reliable results
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver essential diagnostic information
  • Ensuring safe laboratory practices and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Managing documentation, test records, and inventory of laboratory supplies
  • Required qualifications:

  • Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS/CLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from an accredited institution
  • Active, valid national certification or eligibility (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent)
  • Prior experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient in laboratory information systems and familiar with a wide variety of laboratory instruments
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team

    $1,053 - $1,152/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
