Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited Medical Technologist (MT/MLS/CLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) program
  • Valid certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) required or eligibility to obtain
  • Minimum of one year’s recent experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred
  • Proficiency in specimen collection, testing procedures, and instrument maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and quality assurance
  • Effective communication and organizational abilities
  • Commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of routine and complex laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, or immunology
  • Analyze and report test results with accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Adhere strictly to all quality control policies, procedures, and compliance regulations
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other laboratory personnel to ensure the highest standard of care
  • Accurately record test data and maintain detailed laboratory documentation
  • Participate in laboratory inspections and proficiency testing as needed

    $1,500 - $1,587/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
