Take on a vital role supporting accurate diagnostics and patient care as a skilled laboratory professional in a contract opportunity. This position spans 13 weeks and offers multiple shifts to fit a range of scheduling needs.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or equivalent
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
  • Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting required
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory testing methodologies and quality control processes
  • Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment and information systems
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Clear communication skills and capacity to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Schedule/Hours:

  • Multiple shifts available
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct accurate and efficient laboratory tests including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, and immunology
  • Analyze test results and communicate findings promptly to clinical staff
  • Perform quality control procedures and maintain compliance with laboratory regulations
  • Operate and calibrate laboratory instrumentation; troubleshoot technical issues as needed
  • Maintain concise and accurate documentation of all testing procedures and outcomes
  • Adhere to safety protocols for the handling of biological specimens and hazardous materials
  • Collaborate with fellow laboratory professionals to ensure smooth workflow and high standards of patient care
