Schedule:

  • Full-time, 13-week contract
  • Flexible shifts may be available
  • Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science (required)
  • Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar laboratory environment
  • Hands-on experience with Beckman Coulter equipment (AU system strongly preferred)
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Sunquest LIS and laboratory automation systems
  • Ability to perform phlebotomy as needed
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately carry out defined laboratory protocols and procedures on blood, body fluids, or other specimens
  • Utilize both manual and automated laboratory techniques in accordance with current standards
  • Operate laboratory instruments and information systems to ensure precise and timely results
  • Collaborate closely with laboratory technologists, leaders, and supervisors under direct supervision
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, following all safety and infection control procedures
  • Contribute to a positive lab environment and uphold high standards of clinical excellence
