This 13-week assignment invites an experienced Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician to contribute in a generalist capacity, supporting a well-equipped laboratory. Work closely with accomplished professionals, gain exposure to a range of workplace practices, and expand your resume by mastering the latest instrumentation and laboratory information systems. The schedule of three 12-hour shifts (Friday through Sunday, days) gives you extended periods of free time to explore, rest, or pursue personal goals.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 3 x 12-hour shifts
  • Day shifts: Friday – Sunday
  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform generalist Medical Technologist/MLT duties, including chemistry (using Roche cobas Pro/Pure systems), hematology, urinalysis, and blood bank operations.
  • Conduct high-quality phlebotomy for various patient populations.
  • Utilize Cerner Laboratory Information Systems accurately for result entry and tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with quality controls, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver timely and precise laboratory results.
  • Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • ASCP certification (required; no AMT).
  • Minimum of two years’ experience as a Medical Technologist or MLT.
  • Strong blood bank proficiency.
  • Solid experience on Roche cobas Pro/Pure chemistry analyzers.
  • Prior use of Cerner LIS.
  • Seasoned generalist skills and ability to work independently.
  • Phlebotomy expertise required.
  • Candidates must reside 50+ miles from Mount Pleasant, SC.

    $1,694 - $1,792/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
